Terms of Service

Effective September 9, 2026 · DIYRenovationHub.org

These terms govern your use of diyrenovationhub.org and any course, guide, bundle, or other product purchased from it. By using this site or buying a product, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the site or make a purchase.

What This Site Is

DIY Renovation Hub is an educational publisher. We sell digital courses, task guides, and reference content about home construction, renovation, electrical, plumbing, structural, and tile work, written from field experience and published code references (NEC, IRC, UPC/IPC, TCNA/ANSI, and others).

Important We are not a licensed contractor, engineer, electrician, plumber, or attorney, and nothing on this site is professional trade advice, engineering advice, or legal advice specific to your property or situation. Content is educational. Building codes, permit requirements, and licensing rules vary by state and local jurisdiction and change over time — always verify current requirements with your local building department before starting work, and hire a licensed professional for anything beyond your skill level or that your jurisdiction requires a license to perform.

Purchases and Delivery

License to Use What You Buy

When you purchase a course, guide, or bundle, we grant you a personal, non-transferable license to use it for your own reference and projects. You may not resell, redistribute, republish, or share purchased materials with anyone who hasn't purchased them, in whole or in part, including posting them publicly or in private groups. All content remains the intellectual property of DIY Renovation Hub.

Your Responsibility When You Do the Work

Applying anything you learn from this site — electrical, plumbing, structural, or any other trade work — is done entirely at your own risk and discretion. You are responsible for pulling any required permits, scheduling any required inspections, following your local code and your jurisdiction's rules on owner-performed work, and knowing when a task requires a licensed professional. DIY Renovation Hub is not responsible for property damage, injury, code violations, failed inspections, or any other consequence resulting from work you perform, whether or not it follows information found on this site.

No Warranty

This site and its content are provided "as is." While we do our best to keep code references and educational content accurate and current, we make no guarantee that any information is complete, error-free, or applicable to your specific property, jurisdiction, or situation. Codes and regulations change — always confirm current requirements with your local authority having jurisdiction.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, DIY Renovation Hub's total liability to you for any claim arising from your use of this site or its products is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including property damage or injury arising from DIY work performed using information from this site.

The AI Chat Assistant

The "DIY Expert AI" chat widget provides general, automated information and is not a substitute for a licensed professional's inspection or advice, or for the courses and guides sold on this site. Don't rely on it for anything safety-critical — verify with a licensed professional and your local code before acting.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Indiana, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the updated terms. Material changes will update the effective date above.
